I, like so many others before, joined SL out of curiosity. Once I joined this virtual world and got use to the craziness that was going on around me, it opened up a new world of adventures and opportunities. I have realised that SL, as an online community, gives its users the ability to what they want, whenever they want to do it.
Since joining I am now part of Caledon Oxbridge University, The Magazine Writers Association and have been looking into Journalism within SL.
Unfortunately it takes time to find what you want to do in there, so I’ve created this blog to help newbies like me, survive in SL. This will hopefully answer questions like: where to go for cheap and amazing clothes, how to get free Lindens, and where to get work in SL. It will also have reviews on the amazing destinations and Newbie-friendly places in SL.
Enjoy

When I stood before the prospect of unemployment I started to seek out things to fill my life with new purpouse. That’s when I stumbled upon Second Life!
I was instantly fascinated by the fact that you could do whatever you wanted and be whoever you wanted to be. As most newbies I had a hard time finding out what I wanted to do with my life away from life. That’s when I discovered the joy of exploration.
I met Izzie Morgan at the Shelter (where all residents end up sooner or later
) and we started to talk about how hard it is to find out new things in SL. She talked about starting a survival guide and before I knew it, I was a traveling journalist.

my own club for 6 months with my then SL partner. Both of them ended, but moved on with my DJ’ing and is now in SL to have fun, try new stuff and … spend time with my lovely SL missus Goodnight, whom I married on the 12th of February of 2011.
