Izzie DeClaun (KennieM) (CEO)
Rezday: November 19 2010
I, like so many others before, joined SL out of curiosity. Once I joined the virtual world and got use to the craziness that was going on around me, it opened up a new world of adventures and opportunities. I have realised that SL, as an online community, gives its users the ability to what they want, whenever they want to do it.
We started the Torch at first to help New people get to grips with the Virtual World. Once that happened we thought, ‘Hey we live in Real world, why not help them get to grips with that as well!’ And thus the Torch: Entertainment Guide Was Born!
Morphman DeClaun (COO)
When I stood before the prospect of unemployment I started to seek out things to fill my life with new purpouse. That’s when I stumbled upon Second Life!
I was instantly fascinated by the fact that you could do whatever you wanted and be whoever you wanted to be. As most newbies I had a hard time finding out what I wanted to do with my life away from life. That’s when I discovered the joy of exploration.
I met Izzie Morgan at the Shelter (where all residents end up sooner or later ) and we started to talk about how hard it is to find out new things in SL. She talked about starting a survival guide and before I knew it, I was a traveling journalist.
